You may not be switched but there's nothing stopping the insurer from putting V on a higher tier with a much more expensive copay - how many naive patients will say "give me the cheap generic"? I would bet most of them, unless their doc educates them like you appear to be doing - even then, if the diff in price is $100/mo, they still may go with GV.
