The Medical Monitor position is very telling.
It means growth beyond what we have and what can be handled by our CROs around the world. How many trials, sites, locations, continents, etc do we have? and NOW we need this position?
This position is oversight of something much bigger, something that CROs are not responsible for and may not be able to handle. It’s oversight that requires cohesiveness.
This person’s salary is pretty much at the same level of our C suite. Not a small gesture and points to the value and/or importance of this person’s job and responsibilities.
Why now? We just got results and are getting more results shortly. I would guess we have multiple submissions to multiple regulatory bodies. Maybe Fadiran wrapped it all in a nice package with supporting OLE and data across multiple CNS diseases that can’t be ignored. Who knows, but something is happening.
It is growth. It is not negative. It is not because of a hunch but more so because of a “you need to get this done in order to mover forward on this” type requirement.
