why should a shareholder have to "announce" a visit to their company?
I dont believe they do, however, especially in this day and age, the company has no obligation to let them in either. Sure it would be nice, and Im sure some(most?) do, but just because they dont doesnt mean they are hiding something.
I work in a corporate service line of business and even when we have a client call us for service, I still have to jump through all their security hoops, have photo id made, sign in and out, and leave my firstborn at the door until I leave even though it was them who invited me in!
