Some quick thoughts:


1. The Moderator again did NOT do her job. She allowed Pence to go much too many times and for too long past his 2 minute time slot. Again, this is the most important responsibility of the Moderator and this one also failed.

2. Kamala missed a couple of times to nail Pence deeper...

a) When he said that Trump closed the borders with China, she should have said, No he didn't, he allowed more than 40,000 Americans to return from China and tens of thousands to return from Europe.

b) When Pence was asked by the Moderator about Trump's plan for health care for pre-existing conditions, he avoided the question. At this time Kamala should have insisted over and over and over again that he answer the question....

c) On China, failed to mention that Trump's tariffs caused many farmers to go bankrupt and had to be bailed out by the government with $20 billion then $10 billion. Failed to mention that it was U.S. consumers that paid for the tariffs on Chinese goods, not China. Failed to mention about Trump asking the China President to help Trump in the 2020 campaign.

d) She could have responded several times on comments made by Pence that were false but allowed the Moderator to go into the next subject.


The above would have only been cream on top of a dominating performance by Kamala
