I was stationed at NAS Memphis for over a year so
I know "those afternoon t-stroms".
Funny part was around 2:30, the crowded sidewalks & main park would empty as people started looking for cover even though not a cloud in the sky.
Then like 5 min later,..BAMM,
dark sky, God turned the hose on, a few claps.
5-10min later,
is was like nothing happened 'cept,
the steam coming off the streets, clear sky.
It was funny watching people walking across this large park suddenly start checking their watches then start looking around,..they knew.
