Huh? What business school did you learn that in? A co is worth what a co is worth. A buyer will pay what a buyer is willing to pay. The current price of the stock has nothing to do with it.


300% premium has happened before, and $15 is only $6Billion in total price. Generally, the lower the buyout, the higher the premium can be.
