Yeah, but IMO it's a stupid strategy here. Back when this was $15 and all their options were pegged at $3, sure, milk that cow. But down here, and with GIA, it'll stay down here, their compensation is kinda trash.

Buyout means they get paid out, and then could get picked up elsewhere, or milk the cow as an employee of the acquiring corporation.

Also, with respect to @zmanindc, I think that each day cuts a little off the buyout price, because of what you've said WRT milking the cow. But instead of milking the cow, right now they are bleeding the cow. Eventually it will run out of blood, and at that point, we're all screwed. I'd say that wallstreet agrees with me multiple-fold, this stock price suggests that they don't expect a buyout anywhere north of $15-20 and also the fact that it hasn't bounced back from the appeal loss (but it bounced back from the initial loss) suggests that wall street thinks they are bleeding Amarin out and will kill it.
