Will. Believe the Reduce It patent provides EU protection and runs longer than Amarin's US patents ( if reinstated )
The generics are trying to invalidate the Marine patent here in the US .

Regarding the R-IT patent . The question there might be if the JELIS trial constitutes prior art obviousness .....anyway the generics would need to challenge in the EU and a hearing would be ( my guess ) 3-4 yrs away.


Just my quick take as I haven't followed closely lately
