agreed....a lot of the ills of social media could be resolved by de-anonomysing the whole thing. So everyone stands and falls by their own words in their own name. A bit like the real world......

....people would I am sure at that point be more civil to each other and open to debate and a range of opinions ( without the hissy fits from keyboard warriors) because at that point there is accountability.

You would still have your fair share of assholes though. (smiley, winky face!!) but not quite so many.
