That’s your opinion. That is not my experience, but then I do not invest in “scams”.

However, that was not what I was debating. The issue was alleged that microcaps are a means for universities and doctors to scam basically, as if that is basically just what they are for... and this is not a factual allegation even if one were to point to individual cases, it simply is not factual.

It’s more along the order of false information or disinfo that jumps to a conclusion and feeds someone’s predisposition to believe such an idea. Maybe because they actually did invest in a bad idea that failed or even, possibly a particular fraud. But the broad characterization is only true for those who basically do not know what they are doing and are attracted to frauds, maybe because they are looking to get rich quick and have no means to do due diligence, and that happens with any range of companies and even to people presumed to be sophisticated.

We have the one case of that testing company to keep in mind that fooled all of Silicon Valley, but it ironically has nothing to do with doctors or universities. The founder had not even graduated from college and had a very poor explanation of the science, and in fact got by by saying it was all too secret.

But those cases are rare and do not typically involve real FDA trials and real/major universities. No doubt there are cases, but it is not the norm. Not even a moderately sized minority of the companies, let alone the majority.
