How to talk to conspiracy theorists—and still be kind

Well I was raised to be kind to the stoopids. But even my grandparents who went thru WW1, and then the Great Depression, with a HS education, could detect when stoopid became pure bat chit. They understood that when the media reported increased cases of Spanish flu victims being hospitalized, and dying, that it was due to the disease spreading. However with Trumpy it's a conspiracy. The reason in his fantasy world of conspiracy is that more cases are being found via testing. That the disease really isn't spreading. And that's why more hospitalizations, and deaths are being recorded. Yep it's the ole "Fake News" (or is it the CDC/deep State?) cooking up a conspiracy. Trumpy knows this because he recently passed the Alzheimer test, where one is presented a picture of a Lion, Elephant, and Camel, and asked to pick out which one is the Elephant. Maybe he supporters need to take the same test?
