My shock and disgrace has been shown many times here but it doesn't go farther. I just can't fathom how people in power can so willfully destroy the lives of the people they serve.

In Trump's case, he can do it because he only cares about himself. We've known that for a long time. What's really shocking is that the people around him are such willing enablers.
