Both sides have weaponized being woke and the cancel culture to suit their political agendas.

The left wants to throw the baby out with the bath water which makes Washington and Jefferson nervous.

The right wants to defend the stars and bars and the traitors in the US Capitol.

In defense of Washington and Jefferson our preamble to the Constitution says,

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Admittedly as they say our Constitution was and does continues to be a work in progress.

One of RBG's pet peeves is that our Constitution excluded women. Can't say I blame her for that.

As for the right and the stars and bars Jeff Davis and Robert E Lee they were traitors to our country. Put the statues in a museum charge admission and see how that works out.
