As the share price continues to fall in the dump end of the cycle, maybe it is time to raise an old issue that should either bring the sycophants out from The Cave of Unreality or it won't ripple the water.
In the real world of technology development, in the past, when a disruptive technology is discovered and developed, the patent process is often employed to protect the intellectual property.
As far as RaySpoiltMyInvestment, at one time in the Embarq story, Adaptive Network owned the rights to PowerStream. Since PowerStream was to comprise 80% of Embarq, Da Boyz licensed ANI rights. But Embarq was not 100% Powerstream. Did Embarq ever get a patent for the 20% of the disruptive tech that wasn't under license from ANI?
Now we have Cupria. Any claims for patents to protect the intellectual property based upon the Cupria disruptive technology?
My guess is that if you have no tech, it is pretty hard to protect the intellectual property rights of nothing.
Comments will be welcome. Please avoid the "reverse engineering pirating" and the "it is such a breakthrough that any hint of its true science will kill its development" arguments. The only question is: If Da Boyz have a disruptive technology, is that unique technology patented/able?
