Porgie, Bear, thank you for making my point.
The Permian Basin (Texas) is North and Inland (on shore) and contains a Major Oil Source. And this is a fact of not only history, but is still true today.
And back to my statement made so many years ago. The Permian Basin shows a configuration much like Israel.
This is a great map and explanation.

Please see Israel's similarities bordering the Mediterranean.

It's just a matter of time before ZION hits a major Oil discovery. The new rig will help in their search.
And thank you for reaffirming my beliefs that Israel is on track for this discovery.
Per Bear: Transitive properties just don't work with geology. Just because there are large oil fields in the Gulf of Mexico, some offshore from Georgia, doesn't mean Atlanta is floating on oil, or by continuing transitive imagination, Nashville Tenn is also floating on oil. The geology is different.
Bear...It sure looks like the indicators point at Oil onshore near the Leviathan.
I would like to see your facts with proof (other than sheer speculation and blind comments) that Israel will never produce Oil as you are always stating.
Have a great day !!!
