I hope the US government is agile enough to get a pandemic contract from Gilead for remdesivir; it appears the compassionate use mechanism has collapsed.

How can a hospital build a supply of Remdesivir for compassionate use with Covid-19 patients on ventilators? Wasting a day in shipments is unwise.
