Wow. Great lesson for company Insiders. Noninsider shareholders have funded BIEL for nearly two decades through the purchase of BIEL securities. It seems fair, ethical, and moral if the insiders enriched through various schemes implemented by AW willingly and enthusiastically take a similar measure for long-suffering BIEL investors.
Does it seem remotely fair that someone who merely served as an accounting conduit to move money from investors buying BIEL shares to BIEL could own 50% of the company? The State of Maryland didn't think so, the SEC didn't think so, many long-time and long-suffering investors don't think so, and many potential new investors don't think so either. I hope that potential channel partners don't know how the insiders have used their insider position for self-enrichment because if I were a potential channel partner, my trust level would be very low. However, if BIEL's insiders took the action as did the company in the linked post, wow, that speaks volumes as to the insider's ethics and sense of fairness, that would be a characteristic of someone with whom I'd like to do business.
