For those companies (like INO) who just yesterday received their Grant.. a good question (which another poster asked me yesterday) - If INO got their Grant yesterday.. when did they apply for it?
The answer MAY give us at least some indication of the timeline we are looking at?
If some of us could do a little digging on the different companies who received Grants.. perhaps we could get a clearer picture of the typical timeline between application and award..
I did some digging yesterday with INO but so far got some conflicting answers.. I am going to ask around some more today and see if I can get more of a consensus.. right now the most optimistic answer (again note this is not confirmed) is that the Grant INO received yesterday was possibly a continuation of a Grant received in March - the poster believed INO may have applied for it when it became available in late Feb./early March. which would mean that it was a relatively fast turnaround.
I have some shares in INO (from way back) but do not follow the stock like I follow IPIX:).. so if anyone else wants to try and verify this as well.. OR wants to try and get examples from other companies who received Grants relating to COVID.. it might turn out to be interesting info.
