That the FDA is allowing them to test with missing, and nonsense end points.

There's a treatment arm for which all 500 are enrolled. But no control arm. Anyone for a sugar pill control arm? Maybe that arm would do just as well.

Primary endpoint:

Prevention of COVID-19 ( Time Frame: 12 Weeks )
Prevention of COVID-19 symptoms as recorded in a daily diary

So at the end of the 12 weeks, 99% of those 500 had no symptoms of Covid. What does that prove? Answer: Nothing.

Did those 499 showing no signs of Covid, ever get exposed to Covid? Current US infection rate is less than 1%. So how would you know they were ever exposed, and the magic supplement prevented Covid, by using a daily diary? One would need at the very least an Antibody titer test taken at the end. To prove the participant elicited an immune response to the infection. Preferably along with a PCR antigen test everyday of the trial.

And how does one know the magic supplement "prevented" Covid? As in Covid symptoms? Again, no control arm. Would taking a sugar pill have done as well? Where 99% on a sugar pill also had the same preventative effect?

We start off with its amazing the FDA allowed such a CT. Followed by what will be comedy in TSOI proving the supplement does something, when compared to nothing. Whether the healthcare providers were exposed, and actually got infected. Or did get infected with their immune systems simply fighting it off, with no benefit from the magic supplement.

One wonders how they convinced the FDA to allow this without making sure of the purity of the 4 components. Then there's all of the GMP requirements, an over the counter supplement doesn't have to worry about.
