Continuity of Attention: This factor involved the accuracy scores from the CDR attention tests reflecting the ability of the volunteer to sustain concentration. The cognitive attribute that this factor identifies is not the power of concentration at any particular instance; rather a separate and independent feature of how well someone is able to keep his/her mind on a single task for a prolonged period. Examples of this are reading a long section of a book without looking up, paying attention to a radar screen, playing a ‘Nintendo’ game for a long time without being distracted, maintaining surveillance, driving for an extended period, and so on.
