And here, in my opinion, is Singer's most powerful point:

Judge Du contends that a skilled artisan (POSA) would have asked which fish oil element -- DHA or EPA -- was causing the rise in LDL-C for trigs > 500.

Singer brilliantly points this out as a huge giveaway of hindsight. He notes that a skilled artisan at the time wouldn't even have thought to ask that question. A skilled artisan would not have thought that DHA or EPA were causing the LDL-C increase -- he or she would have thought, like everyone else, that it was the severe hypertriglyceridemia that was causing it -- the disease itself.

Covington and team made this point, Du ignored it, and now Singer is going to rub her nose in it.
