I dont really understand the need to 'bring up the personal life' of the lady - but when it now has been an issue here - I tend to agree with JL.

To leave a decision of importance to millions of CV patiens, besides all the legal implications, to a person that could not be expected to 'be 100% functional/rationel - and even without any experience in Patent Law - does seem irresponsibly from just about every angle possible.

And the outcome was a disaster.
