I'm pretty sure you are right that no arbitrary exception with the warrants can be made to one party without it being offered to all. Still leaves any shares shorted based on these warrants with the need to cover between now and then if good news arrives. If not afraid that good news might develop then the warrants don't mean much anyway. This move seems to suggest "the players" knew that a delay on reporting top line and a new offer to extend warrants for Linda, and by default others, would come into play. Best wishes.
