No argument that these type derivatives effect many aspects of conducting business such as raising capital, creditworthiness, valuation, share price etc..

However, the derivative hit to income is a paper entry only and shouldnt be calculated into income from operations, as it is with PCT for some reason.

Perhaps thats what misled an earlier poster doing a cursory review
