I am in agreement with poste. Amarin wouldn't want to settle with H&R on terms that are substantially different from its with Teva. Otherwise, it's an invitation to Teva to be back to the party.

Singer needs to broker the deal by convincing H&R what Amarin offers is the best they can get, better than even the court win. He also needs to help Amarin structure a deal that works for H&R, but not substantially deviates from what Teva got. Since the judge selection is important and both sides won't know till the day of the hearing. So the negotiation can last till the very last minute. He has quite a few settlements. I assume he has mastered the skills of managing clients.

Regardless, the choice of Singer adds some fresh air to this case. I am slightly more hopeful.
