April 14th Tweet from BSEE.gov stating their continued operations of the GOM OCS during Covid-19.

“Our Inspectors and Engineers are conducting BSEE Mission ‘Essential’ Funtions and ‘Essential’ Support Activities daily in the GOM on the OCS by Monitoring, Reporting, Permitting, Inspecting, and as needed, Expediting Offshore Energy Production during Covid-19 National Emergency.”

Conformation normal ‘Essential’ BSEE and BOEM activities continue too, but just at a little slower pace than normal.

Remember, BSEE and the BOEM are part of the “Essential Critical Workforce”, and the state of Louisiana plans to participate in the “Phase One Reopening of the US Economy” by May 1st, said Louisiana Governor Edwards.

The State of Texas Plans to participate in the “Phase One Reopening” on April 24th, said Governor Abbot.
