With that incorrect AVVH confirmation, there are 30+ Stephanie Willet profiles within the LinkedIn database so apparently you didn't speak to the correct person:

Then there's no telling how many people under the same name that doesn't have a LinkedIn profile.

As for all of the other things you believe are issues, it's up to the company now to prove who's right or wrong for taking the risk in them or not. That's the beauty of exercising patience to wait and see.
