Respectfully disagree. Large drug/biotech companies are engaged in developing and testing COVID-19 treatments and vaccines because collective failure would be ruinous for everybody and every business. I presume that several companies more capable than Ridgeback passed on EIDD-2801 because they didn’t think much of the compound.
