I haven't checked individual sites but Spain is at a standstill in regards to Alzheimer's studies (from Cyosol on NTRP board).

PDD is the same demographic.

It would not surprise me that there is a delay for the Alzheimer's enrolment. However, given where they are in the PDD I disagree that the 14 weeks PDD update will be delayed.

Across the board, clinic leaders said they are staying in contact with their participants and carers through remote methods such as phone calls, video conferences, internet contacts, even postcards. Researchers can continue to collect some clinical and cognitive data through these means. Meanwhile, they are using the down time to analyze data and prepare manuscripts.

There is a huge difference between enrolment and the continuation of ongoing clinical trials. In other words, one can not just stop the administrating of the drugs the patient is on. Of course, I don't need to tell you that.

As I have said before Spanish authorities have specifically stated that doctors/clinic visits will and must continue. I have experienced Spanish health care first hand if they would stop medical trials they would specifically communicate this on websites.
