well i'm not sure how often the average tourist/businessman orders room service, but i think the combination of the reduce cost of automating and digitizing the menu, announcements, and the ordering process plus the revenue earned from local businesses who are featured through the terminals may earn a high enough profit to warrant the uwink terminals.
actually if there is a mid-size to large hotel/restaurant owner who could comment on this, that would help a lot.
