I think it's just that many people are planning fewer trips to the store in the next few weeks, and feel they'd better stock up.

i got emissions tested, mailed my ballot, and picked up refrigerator water filters. i think i'm good for a month. now, i need to disable the doorbell because everyone knows we have plenty of toilet paper.
