My sarcasm aside, I would have to concede again that the Chinese government higher ups view this virus pandemic, which is what it is, as bad for business the same way the typical die-hard Republican views any disruption in commerce as bad for the bottom line.

"Tell 'em it's not as bad as it looks. Tell 'em it's nothing more serious than a three-day cold. Tell 'em they need to go to work. Tell 'em they need to go out and spend money instead of staying home. Tell 'em it's safe for the kids to go to school. Tell 'em it's all a hoax perpetrated by wild-eyed radicals bent on destroying The American Way of Life."
