Nope - Look at the the actual effect size. What you said is obviously what they hope will happen, but in my research experience, going from no effect at interim to significant at final analysis does not happen. There should at least be a trend by 9 months. This does not mean the trial is actually a failure, but just that they picked the wrong "primary outcome," which is I think what Bhatt or Budoff said when interviewed. Since this was not a phase III clinical trial, the "failure" of the primary really does not matter as much.
