Janice, The patent assignment was executed on Jan 1, 2016(prior to the 10-k). That is the focal point. ...they assumed that they could sell/license the acquired patents.

ooopps...after further study and attempts...they realized that they may have made a poor decision. Now they burn cash in an attempt to secure such..form thereof.
