The company has made it clear they have access to more money from friendly investors if needed.

How have they made this clear? Meaningless off the record chatter reported by third parties?

I would look at their actions. Direct has been on the shelf for over 5 years now. Supposedly for money reasons. A P1/2 would not cost very much. Why not get the cash for that?

Virtually any public company can raise cash at a price. NWBO is raising small amounts at a high price. That is the mark of a company struggling

The "small raise means news is near" argument has been used here over and over again for the last 4 years. One can probably find about 1000 posts making this asserting that have been wrong in the past.

And the last 2 ASMs both had posters claiming the ASM was late in order to wait on news,
