Brad, you are correct about the two people being in the OLE when this was recorded. In the OLE, there is no need for silence since all are receiving 2-73. In the 48 week trial, though, there probably is a clause of silence that, if not adhered to, will result in participant being removed from the trial, e.g., the last comments from Miss Australia re: P2a trial.

Additionally, it may have been one or both of the participants who contacted the TV station to extol the benefits of 2-73, especially if either one was receiving the placebo during the 48 weeks and when entering the OLE, received 2-73 for the first time and wanted to "shout for joy" at its impact.

A comment on another related topic: Not noted in any of the prior posts I read is that it is wrong to state that if a participant had no dizziness that s/he were on the placebo. It may have been possible that 2-73 caused no side effects for that person.
