No. There are no thought police making sure no one involved in a trial is making inferences, logical or nonsense, about drug effects. He can do all the inferences (and his have logical basis) he wants, for hours on end. So can anyone.

The issue we're talking about is publicly stating them as a trial agent. There are even restrictions on privately stating them among each other. Those restrictions are not absolute, but they are extensive and based on important reasons having to do with maintaining blinds and minimizing bias.
