Nice test case to see how much the Wuhan/Hubei quarantine slows down the spread ex-China compared to models. Being a brutal totalitarian state, the PRC is able to enforce large quarantines by fiat and force. This is about the best test case for the efficacy of a quarantine in a 21st century modern (First World) environment.

Coronavirus 2019/N seems to be mostly an influenza-like infection in terms of transmissibility and severity. Butt with no vaccinated or pre-immune people (that we know of), so the epidemiology will be a great study of the efficacy of modern quarantines.

Also, studying the molecular evolution, or molecular phylogeny, of 2019/N as it evolves during its spread thru the human population over time and generation will also be fascinating.
