JT has often stated that Vascepa is intended to be a volume play...instead of a price play.

JT lies through his teeth - 2 yrs of consecutive +17% price increases (+$100/mo) is not keeping the price low, +35% in two years is close to price gouging. Legal expenses pale in comparison to what R-IT was costing AMRN, this is not a "high V related expense period". The distributors are also making a killing the last two Q1's - they stock up on cheap inventory at the EOY then immediately jack up the price on those lots at the beginning of the next year. It's like gas stations jacking up the prices the instant crude oil goes up - the gas in their underground tanks did not cost them what future deliveries are going to cost, so they pocket the extra profit.
