hamoa, good points but even if armn wins, the patents still do expire in 2029, so they dont have an eternity to grow a business like the ones you listed. By time they hit peak sales, the end of the patents will be in sight - at least in the US. Without a R&D department getting another indication involves embarking on additional studies which cost money and are time consuming. Then the overhang of those studies succeeding will impact the pps. It seems like gia is very tenuous and the idea that amrn sells $10b a year and our MC will automatically by $50b because of that seems too ideal. By time that $10b potentially happens, the patents are nearing an end, there will be strains on supply that could impact margins, the speculation of additional studies, the constant court appeals, market manipulation, etc. I honestly believe this is a $35bil company today and a $35b company in 5 years regardless of sales because of future overhangs. Some of those overhangs are eliminated or lessened with a BP that can guide this to additional studies. Yesterday NVS announced they have a deal with england to get the new drug they just bought 1 month ago to market. We have no such deal... Amrn has meetings with insurers in Feb to discuss coverage. I guarantee if V was in the hands of BP, those meetings would have already taken place. Unfortunately corruption and bribes are not our forte.
