I know. Quite often the discussion, if it can be called a discussion, about market makers manipulating prices dissolves into a series of circular -- maybe elliptical is a better way of describing it -- arguments.

Trades are done electronically and have been. There is no actual person involved in executing a buy and/or sell order. All trades are executed when a buyer and seller prices "match" and then bingo.
