We wouldn’t put our name on just any Light Ice Cream, so this took some effort – we promise the wait was worthwhile. Trader Joe’s Light Ice Creams are rich, fluffy, and full-flavored, combining broken up bits of actual Joe Joe’s Cookies with vanilla ice cream, or satisfying swirls of peanut butter with chocolate ice cream, respectively. On top of that, an entire pint contains only 370 calories – about 1/2 the number of calories of a typical pint of ice cream – and a whole lotta protein – 20g for the Joe Joe’s Cookies & Cream and 23g for the Chocolate Peanut Butter, to be precise. We’re not necessarily saying they’re designed to be eaten by the pint, but that’s definitely how we like to enjoy them.
