I am an Ameritrade customer. I am unable to get their option quotes for the 8 near-the-money SOX December options to match the data on your web site:

For instance, SXXLQ shows a 5.10 close on volume of 93 contracts. Ameritrade shows a 5.10 close on volume of 149.

And SXXXQ shows a 12.90 close on volume of 0. Ameritrade shows a close of 15.00 on volume of 2... these are just two examples and all 8 near-the-money are wrong...

The closing prices are almost all the same, but the volumes are all different.

On Ameritrade, I was watching SXXLQ at the close and it showed a close of 5.00 a few moments after the close on volume of 149... until just now... it shows 5.10 on 141 volume... very strange!

Ameritrade option quotes come from OPRA, so they say.

Can you tell me why this is? Any insight at all? Where can I get a reliable bid and ask and volume if Ameritrade is not going to provide that?

I know that AMTD elected to NOT pay for your index trading data and I can't get them to change their policy after many, many complaints. But I do not understand why index option data would be off -- Do you?
