conix, That's quite a bouquet for you, as a proclaimed non-supporter of Trump, to post.
The sycophantic view is not surprising from your author, just from you it should be.

"The Real Reason for Trump Derangement Syndrome"

Basically crap.

Much in it is open to rebuttable, i'll just stick to a favorite one of you people the economy, yet again here.

"To make things worse for his critics, Trump’s economy is booming as never before in the new 21st century: near
record-low unemployment, a record number of Americans working, increases in workers’ wages and family
incomes, low interest rates, low inflation, steady GDP growth, and a strong stock market.
"

Victor Davis Hanson gives all credit to Trump, where all evidence, and more expert
opinion than much, at least recognizes Trump does not deserve all credit there.

This one looks at that question objectively.

ForReal, FACT CHECK: Who Gets Credit For The Booming U.S. Economy?
[...]
So while the White House can certainly point to some yardsticks that indicate a meaningful turnaround on Trump's watch —
including small business sentiment, business investment and goods-producing job growth — broader measures of the overall
job market and wages show the economy continues to follow the steady, upward glide path that began under Obama.

And personally, turning Trump's penchant for lies thus neccesiting condemnation and fact-checking into a complimentary 'great troll' position sucks.

Hanson is a conservative who voted for George W. Bush in the 2000 and 2004 elections.[16] He defended George W. Bush and his policies,[17] especially the Iraq War.[18] He vocally supported Bush's Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, describing him as "a rare sort of secretary of the caliber of George Marshall" and a "proud and honest-speaking visionary" whose "hard work and insight are bringing us ever closer to victory".[19]

Hanson is a supporter of Donald Trump, authoring a 2019 book The Case for Trump.[20] Trump praised the book.[20] In the book, Hanson defends Trump's insults and vile language as "uncouth authenticity", and praises Trump for "an uncanny ability to troll and create hysteria among his media and political critics."[20] According to Washington Post book critic Carlos Lozada, the book "focuses less on the case for Trump than on the case against everyone else," in particular attacking Hillary Clinton.[20] According to Lozada, Hanson indulges "in casual sexism, criticizing Clinton’s “shrill” voice and her “signature off-putting laugh,” and inexplicably suggesting that while “Trump’s bulk fueled a monstrous energy; Hillary’s girth sapped her strength.”"[20] Hanson praises the Trump administration for its "inspired" and "impressive" Cabinet members.[20] In the book, Hanson blamed Barack Obama for "deliberately [whipping up]" "much of the current division in the country" while not covering at all Trump's birtherism or attacks on Muslims.[20] The book likens Trump to a hero of ancient literature, sacrificing himself for the greater good.[20] Hanson expressed support for Trump's proposed border wall on the Southern border, saying that walls around houses deter criminals.

Noted Hanson originally lauded Trump's original cabinet members and now, in your article,
turns Trump's firing them, or them leaving him, into a positive accolade for Trump.

Sorry, Victor, you fail in your extremely partisan view. And, conix, you too.

It was Plato who said, “He, O men, is the wisest, who like Socrates, knows that his wisdom is in truth worth nothing”
