Except nearly all the ice is not presently over the sea, it's on land (greenland and Antarctica). So yes, sea level will rise when the ice melts. Sea level has risen 1cm in the last 100 years, you're going to tell me there is more ice now than there was 100 years ago? Stick to laughing to everything else on TV.
