You guys are assuming that the correspondence would somehow be negative, rude, disrespectful, or somehow unsavory. All I am saying is that there is a way to communicate with others respectfully and that should be encouraged. The issue ongoing in our country is everyone calling flag on the play when they hear an opposing viewpoint or feeling that words of disagreement are somehow "violence"

You guys don't have to protect Steve Nissen from opposing viewpoints. I'm sure he will be OK. He probably wouldn't even read the letters. You guys don't have to surround him with a cushion of like minded thinkers.
