If PDD and Rett are successful they are easier to approve on shorter duration trials. This will give justification for a shorter Alzheimer's trial and provisional approval for all three indications.

Just speculating that Missling might have a good reason to be tight lipped about all of this.

In addition to getting positive CNS disease trial results for the first time in medical science he is also observing the much larger, more valuable process of knowledge generation. The knowledge being developed and demonstrated is (or will be) a lot more valuable (financially) than payback for treatment of disease, which is critical of course for human reasons.

We do not know what those directly involved know yet but we get the sense that something important is happening, and it likely is. IMO, that is what Dr.M. and those involved are excited about w/in the constraints of a regulated environment/industry. The knowledge will present the base for learning and much more significant evolutionary accomplishments to come.

An analogy might be useful. In a previous life I had the opportunity to work in the physics labs at MIT research and Fairchild during the very first semiconductor device research days. Starting w/diodes/3 lead transistors/integrated circuits/MSI/LSI/VLSI/MOS/CMOS and all the various evolutions of device/feature sizes/CAD/CAM. One technological improvement was built on the previous knowledge gained almost in a serial manner. That is what we will see here. First sequential evolution then some leaps. Imagine our world today w/o microelectronics and the wonders of cell phones, comm. devices, automotive apps...endless string of industrial evolution that all began in a lab and evolved. Every now and then there has been a leap like from diffused planar devices to C-MOS technology. All of this caused the changes from analog to digital technology designs which has since evolved. It took about 20+ years but in fact the technology changes were happening almost daily.

So, even though we do not see it, changes are happening in the labs due to the learning process. My guess is they apply new knowledge almost on a daily basis. My guess is the PDD-RSD controlled conditions in Australia and Spain are boiling with new learning based on solid
results.

This team has been connecting dots with great skill. We should continue. It is not clear to me what will be made public and when or in what context. We expect trial results but there may be other knowledge we do not see that is far more valuable. All Just My opinion but I have seen this movie and have a god sense of how it ends. Bless the RSD kids.
