The following two statements are NOT contradictory:
1) The Liquidmetal name isn't owned by Apple nor exclusively licensed to Apple.
2) Under the Master Transaction Agreement between Apple and LQMT, Apple has a perpetual license to the use of "liquidmetal" in products containing LQMT's BMG.

The two statements would be contradictory if I had said that "Apple has perpetual and exclusive license to the use of "liquidmetal" in products containing LQMT's BMG", but I didn't say that.

If you feel that I've contradicted myself, please explain.
