Look, if you want to say politics is the driver for mass shootings and other such atrocities, you must then condemn and place blame on Obama for the senseless killing of 5 Dallas police officers and wounding of 12 others in July of 2016.
You must also put the blame for the Oklahoma City Bombing in April 1995 on the shoulders of Bill Clinton. Fact is, there was a whole bunch more white nationalist activity (Ruby Ridge, Waco Siege, Unabomber, to name a few.) during the Bill Clinton Presidency. Does he get credit for motivating these people?
Does Bernie Sanders get blame for motivating James T. Hodgkinson to shoot Congressmen during a softball practice?
And finally and most currently, was Connor Betts from Bellbrook, Ohio, motivated by Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders to kill those in Dayton, the day after the El Paso shootings?
You can't have it both ways. Either these atrocities were politically motivated or they weren't. Your choice.
