What then does this following statement from the filing mean?

"With respect to any person or group of affiliated or associated persons that beneficially owns 15% or more of the outstanding shares of Common Stock prior to the issuance of the press release announcing the adoption of the Rights Agreement, such person or group of affiliated or associated persons will become an “Acquiring Person” only after becoming the beneficial owner of any additional shares of Common Stock, subject to certain exceptions."



This poison pill is not preventing smaller holders(like retail & below 15% holders) from buying shares.But
preventing the above 15% big holders from further buying.

Let's say CR attempts to buy even 100 more shares, from the above it implies that they then become the “Acquiring Person”, right? Let's say they have no intention of acquiring the company, then this clause will prevent them from getting more shares, that's how it reads.Am I misunderstanding that?
